ITIL 4 Managing Professional is aimed at IT practitioners working within technology and digital teams across businesses, and provides them the practical and technical knowledge required to run successful IT-enabled services, teams and workflows.
You must be an ITIL 4 Foundation certified candidate before you can take any the four modules in the ITIL 4 Managing Professional (MP) stream:
The ITIL 4 Specialist: Create, Deliver and Support certification course covers the core service management activities and expands beyond the current scope of ITIL v3 to cover the ‘creation’ and delivery of services.
The ITIL 4 Strategist: Direct, Plan and Improve certification course provides IT practitioners with the practical skills necessary to create a ‘learning and improving’ IT organisation with a strong and effective strategic direction.
The ITIL 4 Specialist: Drive Stakeholder Value certification course provides guidance on how to create business value through well-managed IT-enabled services and strong internal and external stakeholder relationships.
The ITIL 4 Specialist: High-velocity IT certification course encompasses the ways in which organisations and digital operating models function in high-velocity environments, with a focus on the quick delivery of products and services to gain maximum business value.
And if you take all four modules, you will earn the ITIL 4 Managing Professional designation.

What Is an ITIL 4 Strategic Leader?
This is a professional designation that demonstrates a clear understanding of how IT influences and directs the business strategy – not just for IT operations, but for all digitally-enabled services. In addition to creating an appropriate digital strategy that is aligned to the organisation’s business goals, the strategic leader will possess the knowledge needed for directing, planning, and delivering continual improvements with agility.
